Grown Ups and Wigglers in Rugby.
Entrust Care Partnership in Rugby are celebrating receiving a grant of £10,276 for their new 12-month project called Grown Ups and Wigglers, located in Rugby. The grant was awarded by People’s Health Trust and raised by Health Lottery West Midlands.
The project will provide weekly creative movement sessions during term time for children under five with disabilities and their parents/carers. A core group of participants will build social connections through the regular meetings and will help shape the programme on an on-going basis.
Chris Lunn, The Health Lottery in the West Midlands said: “The funds raised through The Health Lottery in The West Midlands are changing and improving lives. It was clear that supporting Entrust Care Partnership CIC would have great benefit to the community. To date, over £100 million has been raised through The Health Lottery for good causes across Great Britain, of which £7.3 million has been raised for the West Midlands. We hope to make even more for good causes when Health Lottery West Midlands opens in February 2019.”
The Health Lottery West Midlands will benefit from all Health Lottery tickets sold for draws being held between 1 and 28 February 2019. Tickets can be purchased in advance for these draws online at www.healthlottery.co.uk or from more than 32,000 local retailers including The Post Office, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons and WH Smith.
